# How old do you have to be to work at Costco?

Costco doesn't publish a minimum age for its entry-level jobs, and the postings we checked don't state one. Your state's law sets the floor.

Costco doesn't publish a minimum hiring age. None of the 2,100 US warehouse postings we checked in October 2026 (cashier assistant, food service, stocker, gas station attendant, forklift and driver jobs, in every state Costco operates) state an age. Warehouses are company-run, and your state's child-labor law still applies.
