# How old do you have to be to work at Smoothie King?

You can work at Smoothie King from age 15 at some locations, but most locations hire at 16. Most Smoothie King locations are independently owned franchises, and each owner sets their own minimum age. State law can raise the age.

Smoothie King doesn't publish one company-wide hiring age; most stores are franchised and each owner sets it within state law. On Smoothie King's own job site (jobs.smoothieking.com) we checked 883 postings in October 2026: most don't state an age, team member postings that do usually say at least 16 (MI, OH, IN, IL, KS, TX), one Omaha, NE store accepts 15, and shift leader and manager jobs usually require 18.
